Minnesota State Fair

My favorite thing - I love the state fair.  Pronto Pups - deep fried heaven on a stick.  There is so much wonderful-ness that I'm looking forward to next years fair as soon as this year's finishes.

Iowa State Fair

Spur of the moment, Janet and I decided to go to the Iowa State Fair.  Her brother lives in Des Moines so that made it easy to stay overnight.  It was great fun (not as much as the MN State Fair), but fun nevertheless.  Start of election season, so lots of contenders there.  Janet got Sarah Palin's autograph on her NY Mets cap (horrors), Sarah signed the back of my hand - easy to wash off. 

Arrevidici Boat House

Sold the boat house back to Tyra - as of today.  It was fun while it lasted, but actually turned out to be way more work than I expected.  Work I did not want to do.  Work that was too physically hard for me.  I wanted a place to relax, but didn't think that because it was on the water there would be tons of maintenance to keep the place liveable.
